Burdwan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences and is duly permitted by Central Council of Homoeopathy, to conduct regular under - graduate course in Homoeopathy viz. Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery [B.H.M.S.] and it is recognized by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Deptt. of "AYUSH" and Govt of west Bengal, Deptt. of Health & Family Welfare Ayush Branch. Permitted by Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi and affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences.

At BHMCH we recognize that no science can be static and to enrich the science of homoeopathy continuous learning and compilation of experience of its practitioners must continue. This medical college caters to the changing needs of homoeopathic learning and an expression of Homoeopathic Pioneer's commitment towards providing quality education. The institute endeavors to produce learned homoeopaths with a rich and commanding knowledge of the fundamentals of Homoeopathy. We guide and support our students throughout the course and beyond as they tread the path of learning homoeopathy.

This was the only college in W.B. who got permission to run the graded BHMS course of 2 years duration under the University of Burdwan and The West Bengal University of Health Sciences.
